Dawood is a highly experienced digital product executive with more than two decades of experience with telcos (iBurst, Nashua Mobile and Telkom) and digital product houses (IQ Works, iBurst, 8ta, Telkom, Praekelt) experience.

Biography

He led the team that stategised and relaunched all digital customer facing channels and digital products for Telkom in 2016 as well as 8ta, the mobile startup within Telkom in 2010. As the CEO of Helm (previously Praekelt), Dawood leads a lean, multidisciplinary and passionate group of individuals who design and build impactful digital products for leading organisations.

Dawood holds a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Natal and has successfully completed a MDP with the University of Stellenbosch Business School.
