Award winning work
Challenge
With early education being so under-resourced in South Africa, early learning social franchise SmartStart approached us to help them on their mission to give every child access to early learning programmes.
Solution
We built them an intelligent WhatsApp assistant that helps teachers automate a lot of their admin, giving them more time to focus on interacting with the children.

Solving the problem with automation

Together, we created a smart, simple solution that helps the teachers enable brighter futures by giving them what they need to provide for young learners. This includes a useful set of features to aide everyday learning.

Cheap. Easy. Accessible.

Where exactly do these educational resources live in order to be accessible to the teachers? Easy – on South Africa’s most used app. Having it on WhatsApp instead of a website means that SmartStarters can use it in a familiar space, their own devices.

We underestimate how difficult it can be for our early learning practitioners when they’re at full capacity. The technology we have developed here automates a lot of the admin, allowing the SmartStarters to focus on the futures they’re so very passionate about.
